Oak Street / New Kitchen, Master Bath & Guest Suite

This three flat Edwardian had an undeveloped first floor that terraced from a crawlspace at the street to a ceiling height of 14’-0” at the rear yard. The project consisted of excavating the street side of the site to achieve 9’-0” ceilings for two guest suites. A series of landings now process down to an open living and kitchen area with direct access to the south facing back yard. Guests enter through at the second story rich with historical detail before transitioning down the contemporary stair to a clean line interior oasis that opens directly to the garden.
